Hi everyone! It's been a while, alot longer than I thought it would be.
We've recently been able to move back into our home but it has been and continues to be a slow process. We literally have to start from scratch. The house is completely empty except for 2 rooms. We still have alot of work to do and things to get to make it back into a home but hopefully we'll get there one room at a time.
You do what you have to do with what you have to work with.

I have been away from my PSP for way too long and look forward to getting back into it as soon as possible. Not having access to the internet as often as I would have liked has driven me bonkers! lol
I hope to reconnect with old friends and hopefully make some new friends and get back to the way things were and doing the things I love. Please just be patient with me a little longer.
I plan on having mostly freebie stuff. Creating and sharing things for free is more fun!

I don't know exactly when things will pop up on here but if you check back occassionally you will probably start seeing some things you might want to snag. I just don't want to make any promises I may not be able to keep .
We still have alot of work to do here in the house so things will come as time allows.
Just know I have missed you all and look forward to getting back in the swing of things.

Thank you to those who have kept in touch and have taken the time to let me know they care and have said prayers for us and especially for my husband. It has meant alot to know we had friends who support us during this difficult time.

Hi everyone,
It's been a while and I'm very sorry for that.
Real life has a way of flipping your world upside down sometimes and all you can do is hold on and hope eventually everything will be ok again.
The past few months have been crazy to say the least.
Due to circumstances beyond our control we've had to move out of our home to do renovations.
We've lost almost everything and have to start pretty much from scratch again.
We are living in an RV at the moment so I have no computer access.
We're hoping to be back in our home by Thanksgiving but to be honest the way things have been going it's not looking too good. Everything that can go wrong has.
My hubby has been very sick and has missed alot of work because of it.
My hrs were also cut when the city deleted my route.
Thankfully my boss created a new route for me but it's less hrs.
I'm just thankful to still have a job when so many weren't as lucky.
I guess taking only 5 days off in 13 yrs helped to keep me working.
I just keep telling myself God doesn't close a door without opening a window and that this too shall pass. It's hard sometimes but we'll get through this.
I'm not giving up my hope or faith. Everything happens for a reason and God never gives you more than you can handle. (but boy is he pushing it this time! lol)

The good news is my dsl is up and running! Whoohoo!!!! Finally!

The bad news is... I decided while waiting for my dsl line to get fixed to upgrade my memory and other stuff so it would be easier to do full size kits. My computer would be soooo slow and sometimes even freeze. Perfect time to tweak the old girl and give her some spark right?

Um, wrong...

I unplugged her took her to the Computer Guyz and when they plugged her in ... nothing, nada, zip. She wouldn't even make the pretty light on the keyboard light up never mind the monitor! 10 minutes before I was playing a game on her and now she was dead! WTF!!??!!!

They said there was nothing they could do but rebuild her from scratch at the cost of an arm and a leg. No thanks. I could NOT believe this! First the dsl now the computer!?! I give up!

Enter hubby with his heart of gold (ok.... he did have a method to his madness... he wanted to keep his sanity which he KNEW he would lose if I didn't get another computer SOON.

We'd been down this road before a few yrs ago and lets just say it wasn't pretty lol)

We decided to go to RAC and see what they had for used computers.

If you hit it just right you can get an almost brand new computer at a great price.

It's a good option if your watching your budget. We all are these days.

So we got me a brand new tower that someone had rented for less than a month.

All I had to do was bring it home do a factory restore and I was good to go right?

Wrong =c(

We tried and tried and nothing would get Windows to reload.

So on Monday back we went and they tried and their computer expert said the hard drive was no good. Something about partitions etc. Figures. When it rains it pours.

"Not to worry ma'am, we'll send it back to HP and have a new one put in and you'll be up and running in no time. It should only take about a week or two."

OMG! 2 weeks with no computer!?! My poor hubby!

So here I am still on my friend's computer but patiently waiting to get my newer, bigger, faster baby back. I'm not sure how I'm going to like Vista but I'm gonna give it a shot.

I'm upset I lost my Incredimail with everything I had saved in folders. My ftp, email addys, all my stats and a few new tuts I had been working on.

Luckily I had almost all my PSP stuff on my external and what I didn't have on there I've been told they may be able to transfer from my old hard drive to the new computer.

::fingers crossed::

My apologies to the stores I have things in.

This definitely wasn't in my plan but nothing I can really do until I get my computer back from HP. I fully understand if you want to end our contract as I haven't been able to uphold my end with no computer. I'm sorry. I feel so bad but I understand business is business.

So that's my update on where things are.

Thankfully I've been working alot so I haven't been staring at an empty desk.

Everything happens for a reason.

I miss you all and hope to be back as soon as I can.

Just a quick hello and update

I'm on my daughter's computer and just wanted to say hi and let you know I am still without internet at the moment. My son came by and did some yard work for me and while cutting down some vines on the side of our house the dsl wire was accidently cut also. Now I just have to wait for them to get it fixed. I'm on their list. I guess those storms we had last week made a mess of things too because they told me they are backed up.
Until then I'm on special notice on most of my mail so I don't bounce.
I'm really sorry I can't do much right now.
I have finished my Whisper Blog Train kit and hopefully one of my friends will post it on here for me if I can't.
I'll be back online as soon as I can... trust me I'm driving them all nuts lol
My husband is threatening to try and fix it himself if they don't hurry up.

As alot of you know I'm a school bus driver by day and psp addict by night lol

The end of the school year is creeping up on us and I've added 2 school bus related items into the stores. I made a school bus for my new blinkie and also some bus driver word art.

I love getting homemade stuff from the kids on my bus.

Thought I'd add them in case anyone else would like to do something special for their child's bus driver. Have a great day!

I made a 4x6 quick page to put in a refrigerator magnet frame and thought I'd share it.

My grand daughter was always grabbing our cell phones to try and call my hubby.

My daughter got her a toy one to protect ours because when she wants to talk to Umpa she is a very determined little girl! lol

I used one of the papers from my Baby's 1st Easter kit.
There are many pretty spring colors and can be used for all kinds of layouts not just Easter.

Well it's finally starting to look like a blog now (thanks Auds!!! you're the best ). I'll get the hang of it eventually. In the next few days I'll be adding some freebie Blog layouts for you to snag. I made them from one of Auds' new tuts in testing (like the one I made for here). I also have a new tut in testing for Mardi Gras. You'll be able to get it at Dreamfire Designs Tutorials soon. A couple more are waiting for me to write up and get tested. So much I want to do not enough hours in the day! We're expecting snow today and I have a few things I have to get done before it comes. Hopefully I'll add a few more things before the end of the day. =c)
